AI Challenge Workshop: Hands-On Artificial Intelligence Experience for Students

In partnership with BMU Technopark and Coders Azerbaijan, the “AI Challenge” workshop was held on September 30 at Baku Engineering University (BMU). A comprehensive practical training session on artificial intelligence was conducted for students of BMU’s Faculty of Information and Computer Technologies. Organized through the close collaboration between BMU Technopark and Coders Azerbaijan LLC, the event aimed to enhance young people’s knowledge of innovative technologies and prepare them for real-world industry environments and future professional careers. 

During the main training session, Cənnət Səmədov, an instructor at Coders Azerbaijan Training Center, provided participants with an overview of the evolution of artificial intelligence, from its early history to today’s advanced AI agents. Students were also introduced to the practical applications of machine learning algorithms and the fundamental approaches in the field. 

To immediately reinforce the theoretical knowledge, the training continued with a practical competition. Students were divided into teams and tasked with building their own artificial intelligence models within a limited time and presenting them to the jury. At the end of the competition, special prizes were presented to the winning team with the highest score. 

In the final part of the event, Seymur Həmidov, Founder of Coders Azerbaijan LLC, congratulated the winners and emphasized the importance of continuously developing young people’s knowledge and skills in artificial intelligence and innovation.
